| Very Rare Sabertooth Payara - Armatus! |
 |
Hydrolycus Armatus
Sabertooth, Sabre Toothed, Tetra or Tiger Characin also known as the Paraya or Payara
All payaras are rare in the tropical fish hobby, but the most
sought after and hardest to find species is of course the Armatus. Even
in our expert Amazon expeditions, we do not often find or carry these
agressive beauties. More active then their cousins, the scombroides,
they also seem to keener hunters and have the more fearful set of teeth
among the Hydrlycus. True collector's fish. |
