Wholesale Amazonian Baby Silver Arowana - 1.40
The Silver Arowana is a glimpse into the past, one of the few remnats of the
Jurassic period. A highly developed predator living in the Amazon river system drainages, preffering weedy branches of the
main rivers.
Besides its unique shape, morphology, and being a stunning Tank resident,
the Arowana has the wonderful behavioral trait of protecting his brood within his giant mouth.
Grows to about 2.5 feet in captivity (4 feet in the wild).
Keeping:
Arowanas once established are pretty hardy fish, that do well in regular
tropical fish water conditions. However, they do require regular water changes (especially when young or new to an enviroment),
and PH should be kept slightly below 7.
Arowanas are the preffered tankmates by many aquarists of
many other exotic fish such as stingrays, Catfish, Clown Loaches, Turtles, etc.
