A Fantail known asl as the Buffalo Head Goldfish.
The Ranchu is a fancy hooded goldfish developed in Japan. The Japanese standards for a proper Ranchu are very exacting. They refer to the Ranchu as the "King of the Goldfish".
The Ranchu are similar to Chinese Lionhead goldfish, and both lack a dorsal fin. However, the Ranchu has an arched back and a more egg shaped body.
