Out of Stock. The Zebra pleco, demands a hefty price due to its obvious striking patterns, and extreme rarity in the trade. It has been bred in captivity but seldomly. It is a relatively peaceful pleco, and is not a true alga eater. The Zebra pleco, prefers a more varied diet and carnivorous food as well as greens. The Zebra can grow up to 3" in length. They like soft sandy substrates with plenty of hiding places. Keep at 77 to 80F, with regular partial water changes. It is a hardy fish that can handle a relative large Ph range. Remember, no shipping charge on a Pleco if bought along with another fish.
