Pterophyllum altum (often Pterophyllum eimekei or Pterophyllum scalare)

Altums imported direct from the amazons. They are beauti ful and rare fish.
The altums range from 4-5 inches

The name comes from the Latin root "tall" and it is derived from its unusually  tall and beautiful  fins.
