Arapaima Gigas, (also Piracucu, pirarucu or paiche), is One of the biggest FreshWater Fish in the World (reaching more than 13 Feet in length). We are poud to bring you these magnificent and statuesque Fish (at 5 - 6 inches) from our very own Amazonian breeding pools. Like the Arowana, it is an ancient species, and is a mouthbrooder (the male cares for its young by protecting them and carrying them in his mouth). A great addition to any serious aquarium.
