Now In: Frequently Asked Questions
|
Q. Do you actually ship Live Fish?
A. Yes. Feel free to order from our stock of exotic and rare livestock. We ship right to your door.
Q. How can you ship Live Fish and keep them that way?
A. Experience and Know-How. Depending on the species, climate, season,
transit time, destination and other factors, we pack our livestock in
bags with water, Oxygen, heat packs/ice packs, medicine etc to ensure
the safety and healthy arrival of your live fish. We have years of
experience receiving and shipping hundreds of thousands of fish
throughout the USA and the world. From the exterior, the packages look
like any other cardboard package.
Q. What method of shipping do you use?
A. All of our live shipment orders ship FedEX Overnight to your door.
This is true of tropical fish, saltwater fish, amphibians and reptiles.
If you would like a different arrangement, discuss with us.
Q. Do I have to be home on delivery?
A. It is preferable that someone be home to sign for the package and
most importantly, take care of your new live pets. To make this easier,
we can ship to a work, neighbor or home address, just specify it in the
"shipping address" upon ordering.
However, the FedEX driver will usually leave the package at the front
door if no one is home so you can pick it up later. This is because,
live animals must be delivered, and they could die if a re-attempt to
deliver is made the next day or if they were shipped back to us.
Q. Do you guarantee Live Arrival?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you guarantee my fish for any longer period of time?
A. No. We will always ship you a healthy looking live specimen, and
ship it as professionally as possible. Therefore, we are happy to
guarantee the Live Arrival. Likewise, we know its hardly a nice
experience to pay for a dead fish or other livestock. However,
unfortunately, all live animals tend to die. If this is not acceptable
to you, then perhaps other more secure investments, such as gold, may
be more appropriate for you. Once in your hands and in your aquarium, a
fish's health is subject to a myriad of variables that are out of our
control (temperature, PH, diet, tankmates, hardness, diseases, species
longevity etc) and so we could not and do not extend our guarantee any
further. If we did, we could not do what we do, which is bring you the
world's exotic beautiful and rare fish at the best prices.
