LiveStock products are obviously somewhat different than regular
merchandise (See the "Shipping" and "FAQ" Section for more details).
Due to many factors such as the biological security of our systems, and
the obvious obstacle of a customer shipping a live animal back to us
(we have the knowledge, staff and special equipment to do so), we do
not accept any returns.
Once received by the customer, all sales are final.
If you have placed an order, and we have not delivered the the
livestock to you, then you are of course welcome to cancel your order.
There is a 25% Restocking fee for such canceled orders due to the
various costs associated with livestock. For example, we may have
ordered a rare species just for you based on your order. Once the order
is canceled, we now must bear the financial and moral risk of caring
for the species in our facility. Often, these cannot easily be sold to
anyone else, especially if it dies.
We are nice people, and as long as you are too, whenever is possible, we will reduce or eliminate this fee.
Satisfaction:
Like stated above, there are no returns, without exception. However, if
you are dissatisfied with your purchase, feel free to let us know. If
something was awry in your shipment, we will do our best to make your
experience positive one. We often go the extra mile, and may send you a
second shipment on us if the situation warrants it. However, what
motivates us is a wish to make sure you had a good experience with us
and to do right. Therefore, this and any other "bonus" or discount is at our
discretion and we will not accommodate those who wish to "get something
for nothing". This small percentage of consumers simply raise costs for
the rest of us.
There is something to say about shipping livestock, especially tropical
or saltwater fish. It is not the same as picking it out yourself at
your local pet store. Some species of tropical fish are virtually
identical, while others are very individually unique (such as fancy goldfish).
Though we, as large scale wholesalers often have hundreds if not
thousands of fish to chose from when we fill your order, and we do our
best to chose the finest specimens out of the wholesale bulk, you may
have chosen differently.
Having said so, we are an excellent service for a hobbyist or enthusiast
looking for a quality exotic species not locally available, or simply
at discount prices not available elsewhere. This is our specialty. But
if rather, you are looking for a very specific individual species as far
as size, shape, color, look etc then this may not be for you and we
recommend the service offered by a quality local livestock supplier or
pet shop. We are also happy to offer wholesale pricing to them on
volume orders to serve their local community.
